Dr. Angelo Reyes, MD

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Reyes. Unfortunately, I found that he lacked basic active listening skills during our appointment. Rather than taking the time to understand my concerns or ask clarifying questions, he seemed to make assumptions and belittle me. What was even more upsetting was how he attacked my parenting. Instead of offering constructive advice or simply asking questions, he made accusatory statements based on his own misinterpretations of what I was saying. On several occasions, he put words in my mouth that I had never expressed, which created a very uncomfortable and frustrating environment.As a patient and a parent, I expect a healthcare professional to be understanding and empathetic, but Dr. Reyes’s behavior felt dismissive and judgmental. I would have left 0 stars had it been an option. Having your child seen via Teladoc as a first option doesn’t automatically mean you wouldn’t seek immediate medical attention.
