Horrible mean doctor. You guys ever seen “Bridesmaids”? She looks and talks exactly like Helen from that movie. I had to transfer to Asheville gastro when I was 17, at 13 I got Crohn’s disease and PSC liver disease. I think she likes to make her young clients feel bad about themselves. The minute my mom left the room, this woman would turn on me. “I mean... arts nice and all but how are you going to pay your medical bills? Are you even thinking?” I was definitely taken aback. She always got her bills paid, I was great at saving, I never said I struggled with money, and honestly this isn’t her place to say this at all. Very very rude. I was literally a child. Why didn’t you ask my mom that? Why did you wait till she left ? Why didn’t You tell me hospitals and doctors offices actually offer financial aid? Why did you instead choose to bully the diseased trans child in your care? I trusted you, and you made me feel very unsafe. This stuck with me for years.
