Highly skilled and compassionate physician
I have been a patient of Dr. Marshall’s for over 15 years. And though the practice has changed, hands, I remained with Dr. Marshall because of the incredible quality of care I received. She not only examines me, which some doctors barely do, she listens to my concerns and followed up on many things other doctors had not. She found a breast lump that another physician had ignored and identified a thyroid nodule. I never knew existed. I love her office and office staff and I have not had to wait more than 5 to 10 minutes in the last few years that she has taken over the practice. I highly recommend Dr. Marshall and her practice..

Patient for 10+ years
I've been a patient at CWH for well over 10 years and never once have been seen by Dr. Marshall, Instead I always saw her PA-C, Christina Neal (who is AMAZING). The office admin staff is completely unprofessional and I've had several issues over the years. Christina is actually the only reason I remained a patient of the practice through all the changes and ups and downs. They've since moved to a concierge model and I am now leaving the practice. Inflation has touched everything and now they expect us to pay $2k per year on top of insurance copays/coinsurance just to be seen by Dr. Marshall and Christina. It shows how tone deaf they are in todays society and is really disheartening.

A Doctor who Listens to You and Cares about You!
Dr. Marshall is one of the rare breeds of doctors today who takes time to learn about her patients. She schedules follow up visits to ensure the health path she has set one on is working out. She is kind and smart and never minimizes the patient's complaints. She takes every patient seriously and tries to find appropriate and effective solutions. If you have to wait to see her in the waiting room, it is usually because she does not rush her patients. Her nurse practitioner, Julienne, is always available, is very knowledgeable about medicine, and is kind and friendly. I cannot recommend this practice more highly.

I have been going to Dr. Marshall's Silver Spring office for over 10 years. I have always been extremely pleased with the attention and care I have received. Most importantly, I feel that I am listened to as an individual person, cared for and respected at all times. I love that this is a women's practice. I don't have to go to an OB/GYN unless there is an issue. I love that all blood work can be drawn in the office. I get answers to questions quickly. Their web portal is useful and easy to use. I trust Dr. Marshall and her colleagues with my life especially as I age! :-) Truthfully, that is what we all must do when we choose a personal physician. If you are looking for exceptional healthcare, respect and caring, look no further than Dr. Marshall.

DO NOT VISIT. I work at a doctors office and when we schedule to see patients at 4 oclock that means we see them at 4 oclock. I was a new patient who made an appointment here as an initial visit and rather than them calling ahead of time I drove all the way to the clinic for them to tell me that I could not be seen. Then, on my reschedule date, the front desk staff ask me to come 15 minutes before I was supposed to come and I arrived at 2:47 and walked out at 3:30 after I still was not seen. Front desk secretary was very nice but the staff is clearly incompetent, disorganized and completly careless!

Dr. Marshall is good but not good enough to stay. Staff is well understaffed. Silver Spring location is a joke. I waited almost 2 hours for my appointment. A hour in the waiting room, then another 45+ minutes in the patient room. I had 2 test done and never got a phone call about the results. Its a shame when you do call the office during office hours, it goes straight to voicemail. Last straw was when the lady in charge of billing lied to me about a bill that was not covered by insurance which it was. Ever since the move from Medical Park Dr to Dennis Ave this practice has gone down hill.

I have been with Dr. Marshall since 2008 and have always been very pleased. I find her to be thorough and competent; friendly and welcoming. True sometimes you have a wait. True you sometimes run into a less than friendly staff person. But bottom line if you end of up waiting its because Dr. Marshall takes some much time with all patients. If you run into a less than friendly staff person you won't run into them a second time. It always take great pride in making a referral to Dr. Marshall.

Dr. Marshall is good, but the waiting time in the office is unacceptable. I've had to wait over an hour past my appointment multiple times. I've been asked to reschedule my appointment after I arrived in the office. On top of this, you only see her for 10 minutes.

I found out that I needed the varicella vaccine because I had never had chicken pox. I made an appointment with Comprehensive Women's Health specifically for the purpose of getting that vaccine. When I arrived, they didn't have it and gave me inaccurate info about where else I could get the vaccine. This has happened THREE times - I've made an appointment specifically to get this vaccine and when my appointment comes around, they don't have it. I will not be using CWH again.

Dr. Marshall is very personable, and a good doctor. However, I have left her practice after many years because of a bad experience with her colleague. The colleague’s behavior was the last straw. Other, chronic issues invclude poor office management and an extremely high turnover in paraprofessionals and office staff. Finally, the waiting times are obscene. I have always booked earlier morning appointments, and always end up waiting.

Dr Marshall and the other providers are excellent. Never worried about the quality of my care and I'm an RN myself. However, the big issue is communication in the office. I left many messages about a couple of medication issues and there was no follow-up. When the office moved, no one told me. I was put on hold once and I waited and waited and no one picked up. Otherwise, I'd give her a 5 star rating.

Truly excellent experience having a general physical. Dr. Marshall looked at the whole of me and asked questions that had never been asked before . She carefully explained what she was looking for and, when blood work returned, went over it thoroughly. She was very clear about what recommendations to improve my health and also made a fast referral to a specialist for a condition she wants more information on.
