Dr. Angela Edwards, DO

Originally, I was referred to come to this clinical by my Primary Care Physician. My doctor wanted me to see Dr. Lee because of his reputation, skills, and the ability to help his patients with their needs. I set up an appointment and listed Dr. Lee as the medical doctor I wanted to see. As I was waiting in my room, Dr. Angela Edwards came in and saw me. I was confused because I had selected Dr. Lee as the Physician I wanted to see because he was requested by my Primary Care Physician. However, I originally was okay with the switch because they both had amazing credentials. I started explaining my problems in reference to my acne and acne scarring. I mentioned to her that I would have some flare up around the time of my menstrual cycle stars. After I was done she then explained to me that she couldn’t do anything for me. I did not receive a test or medication to help my acne and acne scarring. I was confused because my Primary Care Physician sent me here to get help but I was not given any solution to the problem or any sort of guidance or help. She was dismissive and seemed like she was in a hurry to get me out the facility. She wanted me to come for a follow up even though I was not helped, I was not prescribed anything, and was not given any advice on how to treat my acne and acne scarring. I feel like I just wasted my money on the worst medical experience I’ve ever had in my life. I really wished I would have spoken up during my visit and saw Dr. Lee instead but I did not. The experience was a while back but I recently say another Dermatologist and gave them the same story and they were very helpful and explained that the experience I had should not have happened. I just wanted to tell my story to help anyone going through the same situation with Dr. Angela Edwards.
