Assures Hope in the American Medical Future
After an 8 day White Plains hospital stay and experiences with medical incompetence. Including the hospital caused issue leading me to Dr. Chan, she spent an hour with me analyzed the condition researched possible causes and came to a conclusion latter proven, first dismissed by senior medical Doctors. Thus allowing a more efficient medicine for my condition. Then addressed concerns of future problems that might surface for me with the other misdiagnoses. Her job competed, leaded me to the proper medical care for another issue outside of her specialty. This Doctors youth with the her level of professional wisdom and integrity has been inspirational to me and will be to you. I also have come to the belief. There is a time when senior experienced Doctors grown complacent in their fields need to be reviewed and if necessary forcibly retired. Their fields of knowledge used in teaching, till they require the services of the younger enthusiastically dedicated Doctors.

Dr. Chan is wonderful! She evaluates your issues and works with you on a "game plan" to address them. She is very knowledgeable and asks pertinent questions. Her follow up is excellent and her response time via "My Chart" or phone is very impressive. I know how busy Dr. Chan's schedule is and yet the patient is never rushed. Scarsdale medical is blessed to have such a competent and compassionate physician.

Dr Chan was a breath of fresh air. She is knowledgeable, listens to her patients and follows through on her recommendations. She took her time and listened!

Doesn't treat patients like human beings.
My former allergist left the practice and I saw Dr. Chan for the first time last year. My allergies are thankfully under control after careful elimination and medication. When I saw Dr. Chan she asked me to come back annually to renew my prescription. Well, for the past several months she has ignored my pharmacy's requests for refills and today after following up with a phone call to her office someone from Scarsdale Medical called back to say that I would need to see her every 3-6 months. They won't even renew the scrip while I wait for an appointment. I've been on this medication for 10 years. Do not go to this doctor, she treats you like a co-pay instead of a person. If you treat patients like this shouldn't have a license to practice medicine.
