Just like someone else mentioned below, the office manager is abrasive and rude. They are only concerned about profit. All of them.

We have been patients for almost 10 years and adore Dr. Barroso and her staff! They all remember my children at every visit, remember off hand conversations we have had in the past, etc. Dr. Barroso herself is endlessly calm and patient, thorough, and we never leave feeling like our questions are unanswered. We wouldn't take our children anywhere else in Macon.

Dr. Barroso and her staff are awesome! My grandson has been a patient since he was born and I primarily take him to visits since his parents work in another area. She is patient, kind, knowledge, and honest. As a matter of fact, she was referred by several people whose children she has treated for years. I highly recommend Dr. Barroso! I've never had to wait more a day for an appointment and that's important because any parent or grandparent knows when your child is sick, it's stressful.

If I could give negative stars I would. I am still in shock as I write this. The office manager who unfortunately is the doctors husband Andy Barroso is very abrasive rude and judgemental. I have never been spoken to the way this man spoke to me over the phone. All I was trying to do was adjust an appointment and he blew a gasket and was so rude that my husband had to jump in to my defense. I am stunned

Both my children have gone to Dr. Barroso since she split from Primary Pediatrics. My daughter is still 17 but hasn't been to a wellness visit in 5 years. We have been trying to remedy this and get her immunizations for college up to date, but the office manager has been extremely mean about it. My husband called later and got an appointment; however, an hour later the office manager called and told me it was cancelled because she was essentially a new patient and they couldn't see her.

I've been taking my daughter to see Dr. Barroso for the past 10 years. I honestly have no idea why she would be given anything less than 5 stars by any parent. She is good with children, she has an innate ability to get them to open up about what they are experiencing and she gives a thorough diagnosis. She answers any and all questions and refers out to specialist as the need arises. We are moving to Warner Robins in June but will be riding to Macon to continue seeing Barroso. She's that good.

We went to Dr. Barroso after leaving our pediatrician of 7 years. She was recommended to me by several nursing coworkers. She spent plenty of time with us and answered every single question I had, knowledgeably and thoroughly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Barroso to anyone looking for a pediatrician.
