My unwillingness to refer friends and family to Dr. Akonye is not based on the care she provides, but rather the staff she employs. The staff is very rude do not care about patient care. The staff has even encouraged me to locate a new provider.

It was very horrible experince .It was a nightmare , Very bad bed side manners , There was no comminucation with me or my mother .Will never go back

Outstanding
I have had Dr. Akonye for all 3 pregnancies now. She is a little stern and might come off abrasive but I chalk it up to cultural differences lol. She’s truly exceptional and I wouldn’t have anyone else deliver my children.

Dose not listen to health concerns or explain info
Show a no concern for patients well being. Dose not explain information at all. The doctor barley spoke any word to me. Had to wait 3 almost 4 hours to seen.

My experience was beyond great. I had to schedule an emergency c-section with my second baby. I had a preeclampsia. She was always extremely careful since I had a history of preeclampsia. I was advised to see a high risk pregnancy consultant. My baby was born at 35weeks. Dr. Akonye gave me suggestions on which Hospital would be more efficient to handle NICU babies too. Dr. Akonye is efficient, caring and overall a great ob/ gyn.

I love Dr. Akonye!!! She is the best! I had her for my first daughter and chose her again for my second daughter (I'm 18 weeks). I recommend her to anyone who is seeking a great obgyn!!!

Love Dr Akonye. I am almost due and she has been my OBGYN from pre-pregnancy till now (at 37 wks). She has a calm sense about her that resonates with me. She listens to my crazy questions and concerns and answers everything! Plus I know I can be myself with her and I’m really comfortable with her!

I really appreciate Dr.Akonye. She took very good care of me while pregnant with my 3rd baby. She's chill and laid back but still shows concern for any problems you may have. She is one of the best and I had a great OB experience with her.

Dr. Akonye quality of service is very poor. The wait is very long, I sat in the consultation room for about an hour. When she came in for my consultation, she just had a small conversation with me. I was then charged $108.00 for the consultation, when I went in to get birth control which they didn't have. I do NOT recommend this doctor. Very expensive for health care and poor quality of service. Why is she a doctor, if she is truly not helping out community with accessible health care.

I found Dr.Akonye towards the end of my pregnancy and I couldn't of asked for a better doctor. My original doctor left the practice so I had to find someone ASAP. She's straight forward to the point and cared for baby and me perfectly.
