Dr. Angel Heredia, MD

he basically behaves as though psychiatry should replace the role of the foederal government, and instead of having elected officials, we should just have mood stabilzers instead.he didnt respect the patients boundaries, and he proposed himself as the solution for every problem. Very disrespectful to my concious freedoms, didnt understand my preferences for my own life, and his practice set me back in life by at least half a decade.my own opinion for my treatment wasnt taken into the appropiate consideration,the doctor didnt respect my wishes and preferences, and didnt respect my decisions,as they pertained to my own health operations.I would be in a better place if I never met angel heredia.

Took his time to listen to us and get to know our child.

I saw Dr. Heredia for most of my childhood and early 20s. I never felt especially comfortable telling him things because it always felt like he would use them as an excuse to either misdiagnose me with something I didn't have or to change my medications or take me off them outright. A couple years before I stopped him, he started trying to take me off of all of my medications, which I very much needed. And before that, he put me on several different combinations of meds that were NOT meant to be taken together, and I had extreme side effects before realizing what was going on. He consistently invalidated my feelings and his negligence caused me years of stress and anxiety.

I have been seeing Dr. Heredia for over 20 years now, since I was a teen into adult hood. He has seen me through some difficult times and some good times and we have experimented with new medicines as they become available over the years. I have had primary treatment for ADHD and have also gone through a short periods of depression. I have recommended him to others. I do agree that appointment wait times have been very high but on the flip side I have never been rushed out of an appointment that has gone over.

Wish I went to a different doctor.

Long waiting time. Not friendly.

If he doesn’t like you, he’ll misdiagnose you with some crap so he can prescribe you meds for it.

I've been seeing Dr. Heredia for several years now. He prescribes medications and if you don't take them every single day then he will not be ok with it. I know this because recently he found out that I skipped a few days and he tried to convince my parents that it was a good idea to set up assisted living for me. Of course, my parents were reasonable and would never do such a thing, and I would never let anyone do that to me either. If you want a Doctor who gets your parents involved and tries to convince them to put you in a home, then he's your dude. Otherwise, I know I made the right decision and found a different doctor.

Listen, forget the bad reviews. He is an incredible doctor. My daughter has been seeing him for 20 years. My son sees him also. At one point we went for second opinions and saw different doctors. We went right back to him. He knows what he is doing. Yes, the wait time can be long sometimes but if need be he will spend all the time with you. He doesn’t look at the clock when you are with him! Very friendly office staff too!

Interminable waiting times for appointments. Over reliance on medications as the solution with no apparent consideration of alternatives nor explanation of reasoning.

He’s very poor won’t answer the phone bad

Dr. Heredia saved my life. He's brilliant and kind, and he's very accurate at what he does. I'm very thankful that my doctor referred me to him. I wish I still lived around the clinic so I could meet with him.

He is very bad at diagnosing and should leave the practice

Spends an extraordinary amount of time obtaining accurate patient histories so that he can make appropriate recommendations. Makes patients and parents feel like vital members of the healthcare team, always taking time to discuss his recommendations as well as other options. He seems to truly care about the impact he is making in his patients' lives,
