Dr. Willment (Milford Regional Physician Group)
If you have an annual physical exam with Dr. Willment and say even one word (or sniffle), then I guarantee that a 2nd overlapping claim will be processed for your 15-minute visit (essentially doubling their revenue for the same duration visit). And should you happen to have any follow-on questions after reviewing your After Visit Summary or EOB – good luck! They always say to contact your doctor – but you are unlikely to get direct contact with Dr. Willment. He prefers to hide behind the curtain and MIGHT respond indirectly (in other words: his door and phone is always closed).I moved on.

Dr Willment is very hard to reach or schedule. The staff do a great job of keeping his patients from seeing or speaking to him unless it is part of a scheduled appointment. Even when it is already a follow-up to a recent appointment. Dr Willment's care plan for me was not consistent with others in his own practice. Nor did he feel any need to follow it when it came to making a referral to a specialist as we had agreed. Neither Dr Willment nor anyone in his practice had any knowledge of the specialist/doctor to whom I was referred. In fact, that doctor did not even treat patients with my condition. I came to understand from a staff member that as long as the doctor's they refer to are part of the same system (meaning financially related) they would refer them to their patients. Steering patients to related parties is more important that referring patients to quality health care.
