Amazing Surgeon & Person
I can't say enough about Doctor Watson! He has been my surgeon since 2009. After all this time, I consider him not only my doctor but my friend. I just cannot say enough good things about him. I've been through so many difficult years and difficult gastrointestinal issues and I feel like no matter how many doctors throw their hands up in disbelief or give up on me... I can always turn to Dr. Watson and he'll always be there to help in some way... He's just that type of Dr. Even if there's nothing he can really do, he just has a way of making me feel like their is hope, like somehow, someway it's going to get better and I'll make it through. I'm sure those of you who know him and also have him as your doc, feel the same way.

I developed ulcerative colitis over the summer of 2008. Within months I was in the hospital, and eventually transferred to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Watson performed a total of four surgeries on me, and basically saved my life. As for his technical medial ability, he seems extremely competent. The ostomy that he performed on me has never experienced problems common to this type of procedure. Beyond that, his "bedside manner" is excellent and I like him as a person.
