The absolute best
I've dealt with so many doctors that didn't explain anything about a procedure and Dr. Victores is a better breath of fresh air. He explains everything in great detail, and has amazing bedside manner.

Too confident as a surgeon?
There is no criticizing Dr. Victores' bedside manner. His communication skills are great. Almost 2 years ago we discussed a laryngoscopy to help make my voice better for longer while working on the phone. I asked all the right questions: Had he done more than 100 of them? Yes. Did any of them not work? No. Was anyone ever worse off for having the laryngoscopy? No. Was it a difficult procedure or one that was fraught with difficulties? To his credit he explained that you can never guarantee a procedure, but this was as simple and straightforward as procedures get. My outcome was horrendous. My voice has been healing up over the past 2 years and it is finally to the point of being nearly as good as it was before the procedure. In the meantime, my voice was horrible, Friends and family were very concerned. People on the phone called me Ma'am though I am male. Worst of all, I lost the telephone job I had due to the procedure. And I don't blame them a bit for letting me go.
