Best psychiatrist ever
Dr Portteus is a Yale graduate and former Child Psych director at Texas Children’s, researcher and was a professor at UTSW. He does not accept insurance, but trust me- the $$$cost is worth it- you can’t put a price on mental/emotional health! He is kind, brilliant, patient, and allows parents to provide input and feedback when making medication changes/adjustments. Even better- he treats children AND adults. Myself and 2 children with complicated diagnoses have been patients for five years, and we would never go to anyone else! Denise, the office manager, is an absolute doll; she is kind, compassionate and an excellent communicator! Thank you Dr Portteus and Denise!
