Crude and Rude!!
I came in for a injury I sustained at work. This guy preceded to ask me, 'what's your profession?' I told him I'm a barista that has to STOCK; lift over 20lb or more, etc. He proceeds to tell me, 'We'll, it's not construction, so!' I was flabbergasted! His bedside manner is horrible, he was quite dismissive to anything I said or asked. He then prescribed me a medicine that has been DISCONTINUED AND HAS BEEN KNOWN TO CAUSE HEART ATTACKS IN PEOPLE TAKING HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS!! I will NEVER see him again!! I will go to an emergency care clinic first!!

Love his approach
Very relatable and frank; which is refreshing. Can sort the wheat from the chaff quickly and make a plan. Informative handouts were provided as well when I left. Easy to bring up any topic with a thoughtful response.

Don’t waste your time with him.
He was dismissive , unprofessional and was in a hurry. He had the most ridiculous comments about my health, made me feel uncomfortable and didn’t really care for much I had to say. If he wasn’t going to be professional, he shouldn’t have take the appointment, and the money, for doing absolutely nothing.

He keeps me going! – Mar 27, 2024

Avoid
Dr. Pavlatos bedside manner is the worst I encountered. He was dismissive of my medical issue and used a condescending tone. He did not understand what I was trying to explain regarding my medical concern, yet he didn’t properly ask questions to determine what it could be. In a follow up phone conversation I let Dr. Pavlatos that I was unhappy with my experience. He responded “for god sakes, take a joke!”

A Real Healthcare Partner
I saw Dr. Pavlatos for many years in Chicago. I'd still be seeing him, if I hadn't moved away. I found him to be genuine, caring, and, well a real partner in my health care. He not only treated any issue I had, but offered sound advice, proactive/preventative procedures (specific vaccines, OTC supplements, etc.) His office staff (Rosemary, in particular) was always attentive and caring. Man, I miss this doctor when I need a good one!

Dr. Pavlatos is the most unprofessional physician I have ever met. Swearing and answering the phone calls during my visit is not acceptable. Chastising me for asking questions is never acceptable. Steer clear of this guy.

Dr. Pavlatos seems like a knowledgeable enough physician but when it comes to patient interaction, he is impersonal. During just about every appointment I've had with him, he doesn't seem to care, rarely looks at me while I'm talking and gives short, curt answers to any questions. It almost seems like he could care less about the person and just wants to churn through appointments. Though on the upside, this attitude does result in wide open availability and on-time appointments. His staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Bedside manner is lacking. Two visits ago, I asked Dr. Pavlatos to fill out FMLA paperwork for a diagnosed medical condition. After asking the name of my employer and the number of days I've been absent from work, due to my condition, he made a rather rude, profane, and racially insensitive statement about my work ethic. In short, he implied that I, along with the rest of my co-laborers, are a bunch of negligent, lazy, government-dependent scam-artists. Unprofessional, biased, irritable care!
