Incorrect Prescription and incompetent tech
Upon changing health plans to United Health Care I saw Dr Orenberg for my yearly eye exam. I remember his tech did much of the exam and testing, not sure he even double checked her work.I took the prescription to the in network vision center where the glasses were made. The glasses were not wearable, distorting and gave me a headache. I went back to Dr Orenberg and he couldn't understand why there was an issue. I then checked in with my former Optometrist whochecked the glasses, said the prescription was too strong, in fact the prescription for reading turned out to be incorrect and far stronger than it needed to be. I brought this to the attention of Dr Orenbergs office and the administrator said I could make an appointment at my cost--unacceptable-- to discuss. I declined as the mistake was in THEIR OFFICE and with the original tech and Dr. Orenberg. I am out a pair of glasses but more importantly, Dr Orenberg is not willing to admit a possible mistake and fix it.
