After several doctors including other neurosurgeons, Dr. Marky was the only doctor to diagnose me. After a year of severe pain and excessive weight loss, he diagnosed me with bone spurs pressing on spinal nerve. In July he did ACDF surgery. I am continuing to heal.

Dr. Marky is friendly and professional
Dr. Marky gave me a detailed, explicit explanation for the upcoming surgery. His manner and bearing were excellent and he had obviously *studied* my case notes and imaging before our meeting. He answered every question seriously and politely---and I'm sure some of my questions were silly---but he gave serious-minded responses to ALL my questions. Thank you, Dr. Marky.

Horrible experience after surgery
What kind of doctor does this type of serious operation a posterior and anterior spinal fusion, and after my surgery I was released from the hospital after one day and since then I have not been able to get in touch with anyone from their office. I am suffering from cellulitis on one of my incisions. Add an allergic reaction from the medication. I was given by urgent care because I could not even get into see my doctor.. the aftercare for my surgery has been absolutely horrendous. I do not recommend the doctor for that simple fact. What doctor does not have an office phone that you can get in touch with them for emergencies 24/7. This has been a horrible experience.

Very thorough
Went to Dr Marky because my first neurosurgeon left the practice. First thing he said was he did Not recommend surgery and THEN throughly explained why showing me details of my MRI and X-rays. Answered all my questions and really took time to explain and answer in a way that I understood. I really appreciated that. Would highly recommend him should you find yourself in need of a neurosurgeon.

care philosophy

I believe it is just as important to observe the cues of what the patient is experiencing as a whole person as it is to listen to what they are saying nbsp; Combining these two information streams enables me to create an effective care program
