Highly Recommended Surgeon
After many years of shoulder pain with a badly torn rotator cuff and a detached bicep, I saw Dr. Jensen. He is a kind and friendly person that listened to my needs and shaped my care accordingly. Most importantly, he has exceptional surgical skills. My pain was gone right away and within four weeks I had regained a majority of my range of motion back. If you are considering shoulder surgery, Dr. Jensen just might be the surgeon for you.

Dr Jensen is the Best
Dr Jensen did a reverse shoulder replacement on my left shoulder Jan 2024 . I recovered very quickly and physical therapy could not believe That I had complete range of motion back in a few short months. In another couple of weeks, he will do a reverse shoulder replacement on the right shoulder, which has even more damage than the left. I literally can’t wait because he did such an amazing job and I know that he will do just as good a job on the right one. Is open To answering all questions and is very patient. I’m almost 72 years old and I’ve had a lot of joint replacement surgeries, but I think Dr. Jensen is the best of the best and I’m looking forward to being out of pain in my right shoulder the same way I was with my left.

Top Notch UCLA Surgeon
After a very successful total 'reverse' shoulder arthroplasty at UCLA-SM with Dr. Andy in 2021, my biceps tendon got impinged underneath my humerus and the implant. It became inflamed and really painful. (I was losing strength & mobility fast.) I came back from Honolulu, HI. so that Dr. Jensen could find it -and repair it. Now, I am six weeks post-surgery and it's like it never happened! You will never find a more knowlegable, skilled surgeon anywhere. He even made a video so that Resident's could learn from his technique. He has lots of published journal artcles. He follows-up & answers all of my questions. Above all, he listens to & respects all of his patients with genuine concern & compassion. One of a kind Orthopedic surgeon!!

Outstanding
I had shoulder replacement surgery with Dr. Jensen. I can’t recommend him more highly for both his skill as a surgeon and as a kind and thoughtful person. He takes time with his patients to answer all of your questions. You never feel rushed. It was a great experience.

Highly recommended
After over a year of living with significant pain related to a massive rotator cuff tear and a detached bicep, I was very happy to find Dr. Jensen. Dr. Jensen was always well prepared for my appointments, listened carefully and addressed all my concerns. Most importantly, his exceptional surgical skills saved my rotator cuff that was almost beyond repair. I also very much appreciate Maribel’s assistance fitting me into Dr. Jensen’s busy schedule so quickly. It’s been four months since my arthroscopic surgery, and my shoulder and arm feel like brand new! I am very thankful and highly recommend Dr. Jensen.

Excellent Orthopedic Surgeon
We were so happy to find Dr. Jensen!! My daughter had been dealing with pain, popping and locking in her elbow from an old gymnastics injury - we had been to a few doctors who couldn't pin point the problem. Dr. Jensen knew exactly what the issue was and scheduled surgery around her very busy schedule. His communication and knowledge were superior and we felt like she was in good hands every step of the way. We highly recommend Dr Jensen.

Skilled and Caring Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Jensen surgically replaced both my left shoulder (due to severe osteoarthritis), first, and 2 months ago my right shoulder. I am now pain-free and both recovery periods went and are going very well, which is a testament to Dr. Jensen's skill as a surgeon. He was also attentive to all of my questions and concerns, making the process quite comfortable. The results are exemplary!

Such a great surgeon!!
He handled my rotator cuff surgery, which was pretty intense, and did a fantastic job with the surgery. Even PT noted that whoever did the surgery did a great job. He's also very communicative and gets on the phone whenever you need. 10 out of 10, no notes.

Highly Recommend!
I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Jensen. My injury was time sensitive - Dr. Jensen, Maribel & staff went above and beyond on multiple occasions to get me fixed up. They squeezed me in for my initial appointment to discuss all my options and worked miracles to get me slotted in for surgery. They answered all of our questions along the way. From pre-op, op to post-op, Dr. Jensen knocked it out of the park.

The Best.
A couple of tips, if you are coming from outside UCLA, I’d strongly recommend you go well armed with every test you have had showing your condition. Dr. Jensen is conservative and not a quick off the mark, rush to surgery type,l unless you have a major, immediate issue. My Shoulder issues were multi faceted and complex and Dr. Jensen took his time. You will get complete satisfaction but with a lot of care. His bedside manner is second to none. We are very lucky we have Dr. Jensen in Southern California. He is the best at what he does.

Amazing doctor
Dr. Jensen is calm, thoughtful, does not make you feel rushed and waits to be sure all of your questions are answered before ending the exam. I did not think doctors like this existed anymore. He performed the surgery perfectly then a second surgery and it went well.

Phenomenal Surgeon!
Dr. Jensen is an outstanding surgeon! Why? He was prepared upon my initial visit. He had reviewed my scans and health record. Following surgery, he called to inquire on my progress; how I was feeling and if I needed anything, please do not hesitate to call him. Upon every post surgical visit, Dr. Jensen took time to evaluate my progress, patiently addressed my questions and again, reiterated if I need him, he’s only a phone call or MyChart away. Quite impressive! More importantly, my surgery has been an overwhelming success! In just a short 5 months, almost all mobility has returned. Dr. Jensen provided a very detailed PT plan and it has worked! I highly recommend Dr. Jensen - You won’t be disappointed!

When all hope was lost!
I had elbow inflammation and the first doctor said I needed to do 2 years physical therapy; Another friend told me he did 2 years therapy it did nothing. I just figured I was done w tennis forever. So I asked for a shot. Dr said wouldn’t do any good so I went to another doctor— a better doctor. Dr Jensen. He saw a bone chip and said I think if I take that out the inflammation will go down. Everyone in office— receptionists other doctors said my doctor was the best. He took it out. In 2 weeks my elbow was 100%. No more inflammation

Best of the Best!
Dr. Jensen provides the best of everything a patient could want. Every step of the way, I have been informed, educated and listened to by Dr. Jensen. My surgery was flawless and this is the first time in 8 years that my shoulder is pain free. I cannot thank he and his team enough for giving me back a part of myself that was lost to chronic and debilitating pain.
