Dr. Andrew Hsing, MD

HORRIBLE!!! This is the WORST DOCTOR I have ever gone to in my LIFE! He also has a RUDE STAFF. I called his office all week to tell him I was very very sick & he told his staff to call me back & tell me all I had were allergies & to go buy some over the counter allergy medication. He never once picked up the phone or called me back. I ended up in ER with pneumonia! Stay Away from this doctor, because he is the WORST OF THE WORST!

knowledgeable, thoroughly explained my situation and treatment options to include the Inspire device, answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Office is busy and wait list to see him is a little long but worth the wait!

he just wants to say AHI is better or worse. Because I'm a mouth breather I decided to try a tall cervical collar. That confused him but it did improve the leak rate. There is user developed software ( OSCAR) that can read & report from the SD card. He refused to discuss the results since it is not an FDA approved program. The PA was impressed but he moved on. Hsing is the only sleep doctor in my plan or I would have moved on long ago.

Dismissed my concerns; belittled my financial situation; blamed my insurance for poor care; need I go on?

He was the worse Dr I’ve ever gone to. I have Inspire and he doesn’t seem to have a good knowledge of it. He said 4 times in my 30 min appointment IM THE DOCTOR!!!!. I’m now seeing another Inspire Dr and she’s Great and is VERY knowledgeable in Inspire

I moved to San Diego from Indiana was referred to Dr. Andrew Yi-Tzu Hsing, thru my family care provider. I've had sleep apnea for 10 years, and have been treated by two doctors during this time. Dr. Hsing downloaded my SD card from my sleep apnea machine, and could see how many apneas I suffer per night, how many hours I wear it and how many days I wear it for the last year since my last appointment from my previous doctor. He gave me a prescription for new med supplies, and then wanted to schedule a sleep test to see if I still have sleep apnea. He already has that information from the SD card download of my sleep machine I wear every night. His nurse called me and told me that if I don't get a new test, he won't keep me as a patient. I told her there is no reason to have asleep test to prove that I have sleep apnea, that has been documented for 10 years, and he has all the data. He then revoked my prescription. Now I have to find a new doctor to get my needed supplies. I feel scammed

Doctor is knowledgeable, but doesn't have great bedside manner. Office staff (other then Danny has been exceptionally unhelpful, almost never returns any phone calls no matter the issue.
