We've had a lot of reports here at children's for the past few years. Our kid came in for the 35th sickle crisis. His report was by far the most detailed, and according to pulm, most accurate. We even got a chance to talk with him by getting an ultrasound tech to ask him further questions at 11 pm. He left the reading room to talk with us and discuss his thoughts. Very thoughtful.

Very sweet and funny. I had a GI procedure which had my nerves racing. Made me feel relaxed and the whole thing seemed very non-nonchalant so I forgot about the worries. Diagnosis was correct too!

I've never really felt the need to review before, but he did go above and beyond. Another tall resident was very friendly as well. Their training does not steal from them compassion. Very impressed.

My father was in the ICU at Mclaren Oakland. We were completely lost, and no one, I repeat NO ONE was talking to us. Then an Interventional Radiologist, Dr. Hatkoff comes in, smiles, sit's down and explains everything about our father's care; For an HOUR. Looking back most of it did not have to do with Radiology. It was merely about medicine, and teaching us about what was going on. (He had esophageal cancer and his respiratory status was dismal). Dr. Hatkoff is A+. So involved and friendly.
