Dr. Andrew Florence, MD

I recently accompanied my son to the emergency room. How fortunate we were that Dr. Florence was on duty that morning. He diagnosed my son for a condition that is typically very difficult to diagnose because he recognized the symptoms, having had the same condition. He recommended a treatment which my son received. He was discharged and during the following week, Dr. Florence called several times to follow up. When my son explained that the condition had not improved, Dr. Florence went out of his way to schedule a followup treatment and even met us at the door to ensure we would be taken care of. We did not know Dr. Florence prior to the emergency room visit but he treated us as if we were friends. His attention and thoughtful care are much appreciated. The hospital is lucky to have him on staff. Thank you!

Dr Florence is one of the best providers you could ever have! He cares so much and goes above and beyond to care for you. He explained everything and was so kind. What a great doctor!

He was my ER doctor is he is now balance billing me because was out of network with my Insurance even thought the hospital wasn't.

Seriously the BEST dr ever!! We went to ER and dr Florence came out to the waiting room to check on the Patients that weren’t yet admitted. I have never seen a dr do this and was amazed at how caring he was. Once we made it back to the ER, he was very caring and helpful for my daughter who came in from a dog bite. He continued to amaze me even further after our visit where he called and checked in on my daughter even after we left his care. You can tell this man loves his job and he is AMAZING at what he does. I honestly would take my kids out of my way if I knew he would be their Dr for future visits!

Dr Florence was my E.R Dr a couple of weeks ago. Whatever he's being paid, he deserves to be paid more. However high he has been promoted he should be promoted higher. Of all the doctors I've met with in the course of my life this one is the most diligent at his job, intelligent at discerning all the fine details of the job in hand, and outstanding at patient care.

We took our 11 month old into the ER in the middle of the night this week and was so impressed by the thorough service we received from everyone, but especially Dr. Florence. I’ve never had an experience with such a compassionate, genuine, and thorough doctor in all my life. He has gone above and beyond in offering his phone number & has been more than willing to continue helping us throughout the week. As new parents, it’s given us so much reassurance to be able to reach out to him, receive prompt, professional responses in the AM hours when nothing but the ER is otherwise available. I’ve been so amazed by his kindness and genuine concern for our little boy. I’ve met some amazing doctors and think they all have good, kind hearts but I’ve never seen anything like Dr. Florence. He is amazing.

He put 10 stitches in my 5 year old son. He was so kind and genuinely caring during the whole process. He was also really patient and took his time. He wasn't rushed. We are very pleased with him! We would definitely go to him again, just hopefully not under the same circumstances ;) .
