Dr Bright showed concern for me and my family, he thoroughly and clearly explained everything to us and why it was necessary.

The doctor said staff was fantastic, changed my whole life.

I had bariatic surgery in 1999 by Dr Bright, shortly after he moved from Virginia Mason to Spokane. He impressed me as a exceptional surgeon, after a complex stomach bypass surgery 23 years ago, I'm still doing fine. I stopped in to chat with him 10 years later. I should thank him again.

Dr Bright and his team were outstanding. I didnt have to wait, I was taken right back and Dr was waiting for me. He was informative, took his time with me and answered all my questions and concerns. His bedside manner was top notch. I felt heard and he took time to hear me. He explained everything in detail. I highly recommend him!

I couldn't have had a better experience than with Dr. Bright. He never made me feel rushed and answered every question I had. He was kind and considerate. I was allergic to my sutures and he made time for me right away. He had to cut out the knots since they would not dissolve and each time was concerned with hurting me. I would never hesitate to see him or anyone else he works with.

My wife’s surgery went well but Dr Bright went out of his way to delay my wife’s discharge. She was ready to go home by 1PM but due to his arrogance, delays, and finally emergency issues he did not have my wife discharged until the late hours of the evening. Her Pharmacy closed and we were forced to go to a 24 hour Walgreens 20 miles away in the middle of the night. Nurse had provided adequate info for discharge, but he said he had to “take a look for himself”. He was on call and preferred us all to suffer with him including our 10 & 12 year old children. Confirmed again why Providence is better.
