I spent considerable time searching for a non-surgical doctor for treatment. I looked at the doctor's credentials as well as his reviews. I am so satisfied that I made the right choice. The doctor is excellent. Even before meeting the doctor, his staff, the physician assistants, were courteous and informative. Dr. Blecher answered all my questions, gave me options and went over my x rays with me. He is knowledgeable as well as having excellent communication skills. His staff helped navigate my insurance approval. I was never kept waiting after my appointment time. Staff also knew the nature of my treatment plan and set up all necessary appointments at one time. His staff followed up to ensure I was okay post treatment. I really liked the Valencia office: clean, bright and it has FREE parking. Dr. Blecher and his staff deserve a 5 star review. I am obviously glad I found this doctor and recommend his medical expertise.

Dr. Bletcher took time to explain what has been happening to me for the past several years. Gave me great advice for the future and was able to quickly relieve pressure which has been plaguing me for a very long time, as well as make arrangements for future follow-up.

Pain free thanks to Dr. B
I thought I’d have immediate surgery on my hip but a course of Eflexxa injections and PT prescription off Dr. B have me back to normal and surgery is not necessary yet. I’m hiking, swimming and going to the gym. Dr. B is a straight shooter, professional and doesn’t keep you waiting hours. His assistants Micheal and Eddie go above and beyond. Always a pleasure to see them.

Not Upfront About Procedures
Very unprofessional, inattentive and was not upfront about the whole Regenex process. Three visits and gained nothing from this doctor other than a hefty medical bill.

Very poor communication and very negative.
As an avid tennis player I went to Dr. Blecher with back pain. After reviewing my MRI he told me 'nothing' would help relieve my pain. He told me I should never play tennis the rest of my life. It was the most negative, depressing physician appointment I ever had in my life. I received a second opinion from another physician who believed some time and some physical therapy would likely relieve the problem. Four weeeks later I am back playing tennis 5 days a week without pain. Do yourself a favor and avoid seeing Dr. Blecher.

Couldn't Figure Out Simple Shoulder Issue
Dr. Blecher seems like a nice guy. But i went in with horrible shoulder pain. many x-rays later - he had no diagnosis. and could not tell me what was wrong. But that a cortisone shot and physical therapy is my path. As soon as the shot wore off (3 months) my shoulder was worse. The PT damaged my shoulder - the pain of the exercises was masked by the shot. I was referred to Myoskeletal Alignment - and it took 3 sessions (and no PT) to figure out and solve the problem. My shoulder pain went from a constant 7 or 8...to a 0 within a month. This is not an ad for a myoskeletal specialist. Just a reminder that modern day Dr's are part of a rote system developed my the military. They typically have huge egos about their knowledge - and zero creativity. How can someone with all this medical training not figure out that i had a ligament crossing muscles that was causing the pain? Gentle manipulation solved it - no surgery or invasive procedures needed

Price Gouging Consultation with Dr. Andrew Blecher
Beware of any of these doctors who use industry nicknames like Dr. Andrew Blecher, "The Jock Doc" How does this sound to you.... I saw Dr. Andrew Blecher at UCLA Medical Center in Van Nuys, CA. This was only an initial consultation for Regenexx PRP treatment for my shoulder. Dr. Blecher examined me for about 20 minutes. And how much did they charge me just for this consultation? $1895 total!!!! And $998 my responsibility after insurance. And what did they charge me for? See for yourself: $660 for Ultrasound on my shoulders $150 for 1 shoulder X-Ray $1085 for "Office Visit" And how much would the actual PRP treatment cost? A mere $1300. After this so-called "consultation" at this so-called UCLA "Medical Center", I couldn't even afford the treatment. BEWARE of UCLA Medical Center, Dr. Andrew Blecher, and any medical establishment in the dystopian city of Los Angeles. They charge excessively and refuse to listen to customers' concerns.

Accustomed to being quite active I was slowed down and in pain when I arrived at SCOI. I previously had X-rays taken which showed considerable arthritis in both knees. I worried that the only remedy for my painful arthritic left knee was surgery. Dr Blecher extracted a significant amount of fluid from my very swollen knee and then injected the first of three hyaluronic doses. It is more than a month since my last injection and I can say that my overall improvement is in the area of 80%. As further advised by Dr. Blecher I will continue to do my part incorporating more strengthening exercises into my regimen and avoiding pounding on the treadmill. I am hopeful that recovery will continue but I am prepared to repeat the procedure if necessary. It was relatively painless in comparison to the constant nagging pain that I was experiencing. Dr. Blecher’s assistants were as friendly and reassuring as he was and my experience at the office was excellent. Thank you!
