Dr. Barak is a very kind man who is in demand; however, he focuses on you and compassionately listens to your every word. He does not guide you down a path; he gathers the information and studies it to determine the underlying cause for your symptoms. I was in very much pain, and he did not fret as I expressed myself. He kept in constant contact with me, and he always accepted my calls (or got back with me very quickly). He is a very experienced ENT, and he will give you the best care. I am his patient, and he has helped me immensely.

Very unprofessional and inconsiderate of your time. When he first entered the room he didn't close the room door while patient's and staff walked by. He didn't shake my hand nor did he introduce himself like medical professionals do before putting his hands on my child. Giving him a second chance we had to wait over an hour and no one showed up to apologize and there were no other patient's in the office or waiting. He lacks enthusiasm for the profession and appears to be tired and washed up prescribing meds without a true explanation. Ask questions!! I think he should reconsider his profession and do something that he loves or retire very poor 1st and 2nd impression!

I put off surgery for a deviated septum for many years due to being uneasy about the surgery and recovery process. After moving to Douglasville, I decided to meet with an ENT after experiencing severe allergies continuing to get worse each year. Dr. Barak exceeded my expectations throughout the process. Coming from someone who had little sense of smell and breathing function from my nose, this was a life changing decision. Would highly recommend Dr. Barak.

After chronic sinus infections for years I went to see Dr. Barak. He was patient and listened to the issues I have been having. He clearly explained my options. I had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction. In addition he opened up my sinuses above my eyes where the pain had been excruciating. I am two months out from surgery and have already experienced the benefits! I am thankful to him and to his office staff for always being friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Headaches are gone!

On May 2, 2017 I went to see Dr. A. Barak for what I thought was an ear infection. I was in some pain and he did a good examination. He also did the light into the nose as the previous person said. I haven't received the bill for that as the previous patient had. He said I had shingles not infection as I had thought. He ordered 1 pill a day of acyclovir 800 mg. and it should have been 5 pills a day. I had been taking 6 pills since I went to him enough for 1 day of treatment. Beware.

Dr. Barak has no bedside manner and he pushes unnecessary procedures. Be proactive otherwise you may be charged for a surgical procedure you don't realize you are receiving. I went because of an ear ache and hearing loss no other symptoms. The nurse said is it ok if he looks up your nose I said sure. BIG mistake he used a scope to look up my nose for 5 seconds and my insurance was billed as a surgical procedure. Just beware they wont tell you that.
