Cavalier attitude. One staff member chats you up while taking blood pressure; another doesn't know Medicare is primary. Scanner doesn't find vein needed treatment

I have had the issues with my veins for quite some time but had not done anything about it until I heard about the Vein clinics of America, and that there were offices near by. I chose to go to the Alexandria office and I am happy that I went. After many treatments later, my LEGS LOOK GREAT. Thanks to Dr. Gursky and his staff. I have recommended many of my friend and family to go get the treatment done.

I have venous insufficiency and Dr. Gursky and his team have helped me with my issue and been very supportive along the way. After one procedure my blood pressure went through the roof and I became concerned. Dr. Gursky took the time to call me after hours to talk about the condition and what I should do. He even called the next morning to see if I was feeling better. That is the definition of proper patient care.

Dr. Gursky and his staff are not only extremely knowledgeable but also friendly and accommodating. He takes time to inform me of each treatment and is always concerned about my comfort during procedures. He is always available to answer questions--whether they be about procedures, expectations, or insurance --and also takes time to be friendly. As a result, I have always felt comfortable. I definitely recommend Dr. Gursky, and his staff is great too!

Dr. Gursky has a wonderful bedside manner and conducted fast and effective vein-procedures. I was pretty nervous about undergoing laser ablation, but Dr. Gursky explained the procedure and let me know what to expect, which set me at ease; he was also very aware of me as a patient and checked in with how I was feeling during procedures. The results have been excellent!

I have a family history of vein disease and blood clots. So this is a serious health issue for my family and myself. I am so appreciative of Dr. Gursky and his staff. Dr. Gursky has a pleasant bedside manner. He patiently reviewed my test results and explained my options. He kept me abreast during my procedure and checked in with me afterward to see how I was doing. I have had numerous office visits and have consistently had positive experiences. Thank you Dr. Gursky!

Dr. Gursky's professionalism is matched by his compassion for his patients. Not only has he been straightforward with the explanation of procedures, but also I have been pleased with his interactions with other patients and the office personnel. My treatments and recovery timetable were discussed, and that gave me a sense of comfort regarding my expectations. My insurance questions were given immediate attention, and office staff members have been exceptional in their customer service.

Being one of Dr. Gurskys most complicated patients I would like to say that he and his staff at TVCOA are among the most highly skilled professionals in their field today. Their attention to treatment, follow up, and personal care are second to none and I would recommend them to everyone in need of such services.

Never again. One of the worst experiences of my life. He is careless and does not make his recommendation based on what would help the patient. Unfortunately, I did not do my homework when visiting this doctor. If you are looking for what appears to look nice, then he has got that part down but the reality is he is not a good practicing doctor in his field.
