Non-judgmental caring physician who changed my lif
Dr Tremaine is the best physician I have worked with. I had seen primarily dismissive male physicians for years and quite frankly, was avoiding going to the doctor, which was compromising my health. I came to Dr. T with several issues and we tackled them in order of importance. She is not judgmental at all about weight issues, the first time I have ever experienced this in a physician.

Dismissive/The Bare Minimum
Tremaine is nice in person but she did not adequately address my concerns. I have been her patent for 6 or so years and when I had no issues, she was great. Now that I am older and have a bunch of new symptoms, she offered very little help. She spent time with me in the office but I received few answers. She said I might be in perimenopause and offered me medication. I said let’s do bloodwork first. Then I got a call from a receptionist stating I am not in perimenopause, focus on diet/exercise to reduce my cholesterol, which had actually improved. After I complained, I received a sorry you feel that way non apology, excuses of how hard perimenopause is to test and I had too many issues for a well visit, then blaming miscommunication. Also after I complained, my patient fusion records were updated with a diagnosis of anxiety. Bottom line: My concerns were dismissed, most of my questions were left unanswered and Tremaine did the bare minimum without taking any accountability for it.

I had the best appointment today. Thrilled to find this empathetic, awesome woman Doc. She was patient, knowledgeable but mostly she was empathetic which is a quality very hard to find in Doctors these days. I am super impressed with Dr. Tremaine. The BEST Dr I have seen in a few years. The office staff was friendly and the energy of the office was light and inviting. Look no further, call and get on Dr. T's patient log today! I feel like I won the Dr lottery. Thanks Bridgeport Family Medicine.
