Andrea Matthews is dismissive of medical needs and contact requests, it's apparent she does not have the desire to listen or care for patients needs. This is beyond disappointing from a medical practitioner. What type of doctor forces their patients to book multiple appointments in order to discuss different topics? In once instance, I was very sick and had an appointment already scheduled to review standard lab results. When I went in to see her I obviously wanted to focus on my current situation. Once that was taken care of I asked to review my results, her response was "oh, you have to book a separate appointment for that." I was dumbfounded. This was only one of several terrible interactions. I most recently missed a prescription refill by less than two weeks, she refused to refill it with out coming in, paying another copay, and wasting our time. This prescription was not for any type of narcotic mind you. She also turned off my ability to 'reply' in Luminis' My Chart over my questions on the denial... Trust me, she doesn't care about your best interest, and she should most certainly not be a primary care professional. Stay Clear!

Does not follow up with her patients
The doctor is late in sending in prescriptions. She does not return calls from other health providers. My brother was prescripted a CPAP device. The provider has made several phone calls and left messages that have not been answered.

Dr. Matthews seems to just be going through the motions. She shows no genuine care and seems like a robot following a protocol. I was embarrassed to see her rolling her eyes while I was speaking during a televisit. She’s just someone that can refill my scripts prescribed by my previous providers. I will be looking for a doctor who actually cares about my health.

The doctor was rude and both she and her staff were totally uncaring. She was easily adjudicated by questions and I never, in a million years would I take child to her. I did not like her bed side manner at all

Impossible to get an appt for a pressing concern. Nursing staff leaves LOADS to be desired. I've gotten better results from minute clinic.

Will be finding another doctor. Have bee with this office for over a year and on three occasions had conditions that needed prompt treatment. All three times we were told to go to a walk in clinic since the doctor had no time available. Whats the point in having a primary care doctor if u get sent to a clinic every time something is wrong. Will be looking for another doctor Terrible treatment of patients

office staff is not helpful - i was told i need to wait 4 months to see her - are you kidding - if you cant handle the patient base you have then cut it down in size - i would not wait 4 months to see the pope in rome - i ended up going to a minute clinic and received IMMEDIATE help for my medical needs

My mother in law saw Dr for flu like symptoms was treated & progressively got worse & called the office 3 times or 3 Days leaving messages to be seen by Dr. no one responded & she ended up going to the emergency room She is changing dr ASAP for such poor medical service for a very serious medical situation.

Had to wait almost 4 months for appointment. New patient forms were poorly printed couldn't read most of questions. Staff rude and unhelpful. Office so small it felt like a closet. No one in the waiting area, and no one in patient rooms but told they were very busy. Would not recommend to anyone.
