No Bedside Manners
This was my first visit to Dr. Latorre and the Central Ohio Skin and Cancer center. I would give zero stars and no recommendations to either the clinic or her in particular. She has absolutely no bedside manner, I would even say she was rude. Looked at me like I was an object and not a person, and said to me this is probably cancer...took the biopsy and walked out. Had it not been for the intern, I would have left the clinic in tears. The billing of the clinic also a nightmare. DO NOT give them your credit card. They overcharged my card in excess of what the bill was, and then their 'billing department' could not help me at all. Such a disappointing first experience. I will never go back and never recommend Dr. Latorre to anyone.

Skin concerns
I was assigned to Dr. Latorre. I went in for about a spot and breakouts on my face. I felt that she was cordial and efficient but the appointment felt rushed and I left still having some of the concerns I came with. I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask more detailed questions because it seemed like it would throw her schedule off. The assistant that was present was very nice and approachable so the few questions I had she answered them for me. Dr. Latorre's style of care may work for some but for me, I was left needing more. I will not say she's a bad doctor or anything like that, she just wasn't for me.

Dr. LaTorre is efficient which means she'll be on time. Truly professional, diagnosing the problem or issue and providing a course of action. She's done routine yearly skin checks for me, biopsies of suspicious spots, removed skin tags and age spots. All in a calm, professional manner.

Dr. Latorre works efficiently, is nearly always on time for my appointments, and extremely professional and thorough. I would highly recommend her for all skin care needs.

During my two visits with Dr. Andrea LaTorre, she came across as a very knowledgeable and talented doctor. The staff appears to be top notch and busy, with little chit-chat taking place. I had a couple biopsies done to determine what was causing my skin issues. A technician called a couple days later with the results and answered my questions. These are not yesterdays doctors, as the new doctors need to maximize their time, to maximize the efficiency for the office, where the high cost of federal regulations has made it difficult to provide health care that people can afford. Dr. LaTorre seems to be a person that does not seek-out conversation, as conversation can result in long patient visits if not controlled, which can then come across as uncaring to many people. Sense I am not a small talk person, I appreciate the straight to the point approach, but I am probably in the minority. I think people are being overly harsh in their reviews.

Dr. Andrea is woke at least to me if the bad reviews are true. The staff is top notch and Doc was knowledgeable, patient, questioning, and personable. The staff is first rate and new office is welcoming as Best can be in c19 summer.

Terrible bedside manner. Very rude. I felt like an inconvenience for her. She prescribed me the same thing as my previous doctor (even know the file was sent) so I paid for the same thing twice. I called back and she recommended something OTC. when that didn't work she wanted to make me come back in and PAY again before prescribing something new. Left the room after a biopsy when I was feeling lightheaded. would not recommend.

I have seen Dr. Latorre for several years and finally have told myself ENOUGH. My last yearly skin check did not seem thorough. Also, even though she treated me for a skin condition, she did not diagnose what exactly it was. I try to be proactive but Dr. Latorre is definitely not warm and fuzzy. She seems to be on a tightly timed schedule and dashes off. The waiting room is always busy, but it seems like a factory. I am going elsewhere. Trying to get someone else is near impossible there.

I saw Dr. Latorre as a new patient this morning and was left very unsatisfied. I had to ask many questions to get her to give me any information or guidance. Her bedside manor was standoffish and she was like a deer in the headlights. I do not feel as though I was given a thorough exam. Upon leaving, I realized she did not even offer to write me a Rx for the recommended topical treatment. I guess I had to specifically ask for what she was recommending. I will not be back to see her.

Have years of unprotected sun exposure, I appreciate her through examinations. Dr. LaTorre listens to my concerns and answers all my questions taking the time to make sure I understand my treatment options. Each visit she makes sure I'm following sun-safe practices.

Terrible communication skills and bedside manner. Made to feel stupid when asking questions about skin care (even when the questions are about the products she is recommending). Time to find a new dermatologist

There is absolutely no way I would recommend this practice to anyone. Upon seeing Dr. Latorre for the first time I quickly realized her bedside manner was terrible, a different patient walked in my room while I was on the table with a paper "sheet" covering my waist down, and I wasn't sure Dr. Latorre was done seeing me because she didn't even say goodbye. She explained nothing to me until I asked questions. I have tried endlessly to call this practice and can't get through to get results.

I went to Dr LaTorre for two years and switched doctors this year. She's not personable with patients. Additionally I had a mole removed and she suggested dissolvable stitches. Big mistake. I was told the procedure would leave a line scar and that couldn't be further from the truth. It took a year to heal and its now the largest scar on my body. I trusted her expertise and found out later that those stitches are prone to scarring & inflammation -none of which was discussed. Wouldn't recommend.
