Dr. Andrea Hubschmann, MD

I went to see her not knowing what was wrong. I was a new patient (my last GYN retired) and was recently told by a different doctor (a PCP) I needed a therapist. I’m in my 50s and thought it was menopause.She spent a long time listening to my story, my background, and my symptoms before even doing an exam. Then we discussed what she thought- I needed follow up tests- which ultimately led to the discovery that I needed a hysterectomy. When we first discussed the options, she gave me all the choices, pros and cons of each procedure. She answered all my questions and concerns while being caring and supportive. I felt seen, understood and respected. She gave me all the knowledge i needed to make a well informed decision. And the surgery was a complete success. I highly recommend her. Best GYN I have ever seen.

Dr. Hubschmann is the real deal. I saw so many doctors before her who did not listen to me and didn't really care to listen. I suffered from really bad Adenomyosis (didn't even know what that was) but it came out of nowhere and it was horrendous. I was 41 and started hemorrhaging around the time of my period, which would come a couple times a month - it got so bad I could barley leave the house and I had NEVER had issues before. I was angry and fed up by the time I found her, but she listened to exactly what I was saying and ordered an MRI immediately. That is when we found the Adenomyosis. She did my hysterectomy and was amazing. I have never been so relieved in my life. I definitely got my life back. She is a very busy doctor and I very much respect what she does. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Hubschmann is one of the most caring doctors I have ever had. She has excellent bedside manners. I would highly recommend her to anyone who asks.

Dr. Hubschmann will not come to the phone even to assist well-established patients who have a gynecologic emergency. She does not have emergency appointments. She cannot assist with more complex medical problems that are outside of the standard/common issues. She lacks outside-of-the-box thinking and rushes you through your appointment.

Bad experience. Cold bedside manner, rushed through everything, didn't ask any important questions about my history. Also do not come to this practice for a VBAC. They are totally against them.

Dr. Hubschmann is extremely knowledgable and thorough. She takes time with her patients and has excellent bedside manner. Highly recommend.

She is kind, considerate and incredibly thorough. She never rushes through my appointments and always takes the time to answer all of my questions. She delivered my baby girl via c-section in January and we had a wonderful experience through almost all 9 months of my prenatal care all the way from birth to postpartum. Absolutely love her!

She is very thorough and never rushes through your appointment, even in Westfield where it’s always a jam-packed schedule. I was so happy she was the on-call doctor the day I delivered my daughter. She always seems aware of my history without needing to consult the chart. Love her.

DOES not take the time to know her patients and orders unnecessary money making tests.
