Dr. Andrea Ferrantino, MD

I have found her to be cold and not interested.Her mind is elsewhere and she is depressing. I need a doctor that is interested in their patient.she seemed to be in a hurry.

I had a meet visit with Dr. Ferrantino in October 2019. She spent time with me, asked pertinent questions, and responded to an issue I was having at the time. She sent me for blood work and responded to the work immediately. After my primary physician retired, I never thought I would ever find someone as caring, responsive and as thorough, but I was wrong. I feel so fortunate to have had him for the first part of my life, and now Dr. Ferrantino for the rest of my life. Together I feel I will be as strong and healthy as possible.

Where do I begin? She is dismissive when you are talking about your health concerns. When discussing something, she is "drifting" mentally, (I could almost see her deciding what to have for dinner). That's when she was actually available, as her frequent leaves and vacations had me seeing her partners (and wishing for a permanent switch). The front office staff and nurses were always very nice and professional. All in all, one awful experience I endured for years. I am thankful I left.

Very thorough and careful care. Takes a lot of time with me and always gets back with answers if not during the visit!

Dr Ferrantino is an outstanding physician. I have found her to be an excellent listener and diagnostician. She is easy to talk with, asks questions and really wants to hear the answers. She shows interest and empathy.

The worst Doctor I have ever had. She does not listen to her patients, quick to prescribe anti-depressants, and she literally told me to ?drink more Coca Cola.? Any Doctor who tells a patient that, should not be practicing medicine.
