Nope
Dr. Ely was my primary care doctor for 16 years. Then, I got a painful, debilitating chronic illness.The last time I saw Dr. Ely was in August 2023. I was following up on an emergency department visit for shortness of breath. Although I had hyper-inflated lungs on X-ray, Dr. Ely insisted that my breathing troubles were from the N-95 mask I had put on in the parking lot.Next, she said that my chronic migraine was from wearing a ponytail. I have worn my hair up for decades with no troubles. Dr. Ely didn’t want to believe I was sick. I told her that she was gaslighting me and I didn’t appreciate it.That’s the last time I saw her. It took months to get set with a new doctor, and it was worth it.Dr. Ely is great unless you get sick with something difficult. In that case, move on swiftly. Better, avoid her in the first place. Everyone is vulnerable to disability, even if Dr. Ely doesn’t think so.

Great Doc
Dr Ely is thorough, asks great questions, and remembers your chart. I trust her and that says a lot these days esp after the burnout of the pandemic. I don't dread going to the doctor knowing she will be there like I have in the past with other doctors.

Dr. Ely is very kind, compassionate and caring. We are very thankful that she takes care of both our parents and even visits with them when they're admitted to advent health hospital. She is a wonderful physician and we are lucky to have her as our family doctor!

Dr Ely is one of the best doctors I have ever had. She always takes the time needed to discuss my issues. She always appears to be genuinely glad to see me and knows everything about me. She even talked me into quitting smoking! I love her!

Dr. Ely has been a great family doctor for myself and my husband. We trust her judgement and we feel happy to have a family doctor who understands our medical history. I told her recently that "she is my best doctor ever".
