Part Doctor, Part Hero
Dr. Burgess delivered both of my sons via C Section, one in an emergency after a long labor not progressing, and the other scheduled and planned. Both experiences, along with my prenatal planning and counseling with her, were the most wonderful I've had with any doctor in my life. Without doubt she saved my sons life (and mine) and I felt safe, informed, and cared for throughout the entirety of my weird and specialized pregnancy, labor and delivery. Additionally, she consulted with other physicians when I exhibited never-before-seen post-partum complications. I can't speak highly enough about this doctor.

Dr Burgess is the best female Dr that I’ve had yet!! Her bedside manner is amazing! I am currently doing hormone therapy under her supervision and she makes every appointment a pleasant experience.

Dr. Burgess seems intelligent and capable, but I had an ethically questionable incident happen while visiting her for prenatal care, so I felt the need to speak on it. On my first visit, I was given a welcome bag which contained information and a sample for an anti-nausea prescription which Dr. Burgess did not mention was included, without being told about dosage, possible side effects, or if it would be useful for me. It made me feel she didn't care about me as a patient.
