Dr. Andrea Bodine, MD

Dr. Bodine told me while I was in chronic extreme pain, as a single person with an insecure job situation, that getting pregnant would help my Endometriosis and make my family happy. Good thing I knew better, but imagine if I didn’t? Inexcusable behavior from a licensed OB/GYN. I have since made sure when other women in the area ask for recommendations for a doc, I tell them all to steer clear of her. Endometriosis is a complex illness that requires specialized expert excision surgery, not pregnancy, hormone treatment, ablation surgery, or psychological assessment (you’d be depressed too if you were in pain all the time).

I was treated very roughly, was in tears, was judged, and she would not discuss pelvic congestion syndrome which I was referred to her to talk about. Horrible.

Awful! Only cares about your weight, is rude, and really doesn’t care about the practice of obgyn. Will constantly tell you that if you gain too much weight while pregnant, she will not deliver for you. “You’re fit but overweight and I’m fit but too skinny” she says. Just awful. Not sure who she thinks she is. Don’t go here. Attitude is inexcusable - wants everyone to be skinny like her, and that’s the only option in her mind. So judge mental. You are a gyno not a weight loss doctor- let people be. Also told me my chest was too big. ITS NOT YOURS TO JUDGE

Horrible, judgmental and uninformed physician. She gave me advice against that of my very qualified gyn/oncologists

I went to her for my first pap smear. I had a horrible experience. I’m on the autism spectrum and consider myself asexual. She was extremely rude, nasty and said I was weird for being asexual. I will never go back there again.

I had one of the worst medical experiences, if not the absolute worst, with Dr. Bodine. She was not considerate of any concerns I might've had, she insinuated that I might have a disease totally out of her purview based on insufficient evidence, and was 100% not LGBTQ+ competent. I went to her once and will never return. Do not go to her for competent care.

She is direct and very knowledgeable. I am very happy I found her.

I liked the very comfortable & friendly arrival & check in. I had heard great about Dr. Bodine. I thought she listened well and was very thorough, but I did note a very slight chilliness' , not enough to keep me away though, as my other choice is not an option.
