Dr. Berger is both a cardiologist and a primary care doctor. And yet, if you go and see her for a physical, she will only bill it as an office visit, thereby forcing patients to pay a copay (in my case, $50) rather than receiving the annual physical at $0 that is part of my (and most other people's) healthcare plan. Adding insult to injury, she tacks on 'complicated visit' charges after even the most rushed, impersonal and superficial visits -- she doesn't even bother to put you in a gown. The few times I've seen her, she's come across as exhausted, disinterested, distracted, and not at all the sort of resourceful, curious, rigorous thinker one would want for their cardiologist or primary care doctor. Not to mention there is always, always, a can of Coke on her desk, which is a little bizarre.

Shockingly sketchy doctor who's phoning it in.

A caring, thoughtful, and comprehensive physician
Telehealth
Dr. Berger has been my cardiologist for two years. During that time, as a result of her thoughtful questioning about my general health, she has served, increasingly, as my primary physician. She has carefully explained why she requested various diagnostic tests, and she has treated me with respect and sensitivity. I have not hesitated to recommend Dr. Berger to friends and am grateful that she is available to me. I am in my 80s and have had many physicians over a lifetime - she is among the very best.

Excellent Cardiologist in all respects
Dr. Berger has the gift of making a patient feel seen and heard. She takes the time to explain everything in terms that you can understand. You feel comfortable asking questions. She speaks with you, not at you. Her warmth and sincerity is apparent, her knowledge exceptional. I have complete confidence in her as a Doctor and have recommended her to many who have all been very happy

Absolutely abysmal treatment of my wife’s unexplained fever and nerve pain after our trip to South Africa. She had no explanation, no diagnosis, no treatment plan. She did no tests. And wore a mask! The Cochrane review has utterly debunked masks, and she is still wearing one in May 2024? The office even refuses to see someone with any symptoms at all. This is a doctor! Absolutely incompetent and indifferent care. Ironically, the ER in rural Africa provided far far better medical advice, more thorough assessments, and more compassionate and patient-centered care. Avoid her and this practice at all costs.
