She listens to my questions and discusses my plan of care with me. She makes suggestions to improve my health in gentle, tactful ways. (I'm overweight and too sedentary and need encouragement). The specialists she has referred me to have been great doctors. I am seen promptly for my appointments. I don't feel rushed by her, but feel a deep sense of caring by her.

Cancer survivors
As a 4 year cancer survivor who’s been screaming from the rooftops, begging my Dr’s to see and hear me. I finally found the right fit. Dr. Prum and her medical student spent a long time getting to know me, going over my medical records, and making me apart of the decision making. She referred me to another specialist, to add to my medical team, had me sent for labs, and for other testing. For the 1st time I felt like I had a primary that saw me and heard me, but most importantly included me in the decisions that would be made for “me”. The office staff were kind and efficient, the wait to be seen was minimal, and it was a clean facility.

Dr missed our appointment
I got to the office 30-minutes early to do the paperwork for new patient intake. Once done, I waited no more than 15-minutes and was called back to a room where the assistant went over my paperwork for more detail, took my BP, Oxygen levels, and weighed me. When I walked out of the room 1-hour after my scheduled appointment the same assistant stopped me to say that "the doctor is on her way now" (though there was no doctor walking around in any of the back office areas that I could see). I advised the assistant "that's okay, the doctor missed her appointment with me and I won't be rescheduling with her." I also advised the front office that "since the doctor wasn't available to keep her appointment I did not expect to be billed by the office." Hey, I don't know her, never met her, but either she's booked too heavy or the staff have no communication skills - to leave a patient reading in an exam room for an hour without making contact is INSANE.
What went well
  • Staff friendliness
What could be improved
  • I didn't feel respected
  • Difficult to schedule appointment
  • Long wait times
