terrible TMS experience, no follow up
I experienced a hypomanic episode while undergoing TMS in her practice. They told me I had to stop immediately and then Dr. Zinnes never followed up with me. Incredibly frustrating.My brain has not been the same since I did TMS.

One of the most caring an compassionate doctors
I had ECT treatment with Dr. Zinnes many years ago, which was not successful; but it had nothing to do Dr. Zinnes and more to do with the fact that I had (and have) treatment-resistant depression.But I cannot praise Dr. Zinnes highly enough; she really her best to treat me, but I was one of the unlucky group of people who do not respond to traditional psychiatric interventions.If you are lucky enough to get an appointment with her, I would do everything possible to keep it.

Excellent, highly professional psychiatrist!
I have been seeing Dr. Zinnes for over a decade. She is absolutely excellent as a psychiatrist and also provides enough talk therapy that you don't feel like you're just getting a "re-up" on medications, like with some doctors! I have found her to be non-judgemental, LGBTQ friendly, respectful, professional, and also compassionate and a very good listener. I highly recommend Dr. Zinnes.

Doesn't remember her patients information after months of seeing them and completely abandons patient if you're not in her face constantly to make new appointments.
