Average at best
Required a second consultation to discuss the same medical strategy we went over in depth a week prior in his office. Dismissed my feedback about his treatment plan in that appointment (which was clearly not working over the past six months based on the actual results) in favor of blood work that falsely suggested everything was perfect. He likes basing his decisions off charts, doesn't appear to take patient feedback seriously, covers his bases by dangling prescriptions he isn't successful pushing through insurance, and really is no better than anybody else I've ever seen for this type of treatment. I invested a year in him and only marginal results to speak of.

Kind demeanor, professionally provided details.
We called and the office answered right away. It was a little confusing to find the building, however, we were seen quickly once we got in. Staff was friendly and polite. Once inside, the nurse took some general information. She was efficient and had comforting conversation. Seems she read the room well and could sense we were nervous. I appreciate her effort in providing an environment that makes you feel like a person, not just a patient. Soon after that interaction, Dr. Tsirlin walked in and immediately made us feel like family. While explaining everything using information that we could actually understand, he also made our interaction very conversational. He asked about our family, their medical history and even managed to clear up some misconceptions we had about what we thought we knew. We highly recommend Dr. Tsirlin. In his field, it is absolutely necessary to find a doctor that creates a safe space. Thank you again, Dr. Tslin, for making us feel like we can conquer anything!

Greatest endocrinologist ever
Very brief way in the office to be called in. Dr Tsrlin is very patient and explains everything in explicit details. Does not just recommend medication just to recommend anything. Really analyzes blood work first. He is by far the best endocrinologist I've ever seen in my life.

He is professional, compassionate and thorough. He has seen me through ups and downs with my A1c and gives excellent advice. He is what a doctor should be. i agree though, that the office manager needs training on how to work with the public. She seems to be under the delusion that she is the doctor.

He's very good about listening and spending time talking with you. Scheduling appointments is tough though, and he cancelled on me a couple of times and rescheduling promptly was impossible. I was seeing him for management of my PCOS & insulin resistance and he gave me terrible advice about weight loss that was just plain wrong. He was quick to prescribe unnecessary medications. I eventually decided to go elsewhere.

As a diabetic, I see Dr. Tsirlin every few months for a blood test update. I saw him last Friday, March 16. Upon leaving, he said,"If I don't call, call me on Monday" for test results. I called Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. No call back. It is now after 6:30 pm. The receptionist said she hand delivered the message after his last patient. No reputation or expertise can mitigate the disrespect and lack of professionalism shown. If you are shopping for an endocrinologist, look elsewhere.

I just saw Dr Tsirlin recently and was very pleased with the office staff and also the doctor was very clear and understanding to my problem. I would recommend this doctor to any one having any kind of issue. I am so glad I found him. New patients would have to wait for a appointment but it is well worth it.
