Dr. Anand Sewak, MD

Dr. Sewak is an excellent doctor. He is very thorough. He does diagnostic testing before he arrives at his conclusion. He is concerned about his patients. He is very, very knowledgeable about medical conditions. He helped my family members greatly!! I would highly recommend Dr. Sewak!!

Wife and daughter went in for a strep test after we visually confirmed white spots in our daughter's throat. Check-in went fine, even though they waited over an hour past our appointment time that was booked online. Nurse came in and was pleasant enough, asked a few questions, then said she would return with a swab kit. Never returned. We waited so long that the lights shut off in the room.Dr. Sewak comes bursting in the door with no knock, starts ranting about COVID and RSV tests until it was explained to him that this visit was for strep. He then asks, 'Wasn't the test done yet?'. At this point, it was obvious that this was going to turn into a mess. He leaves and a nurse returns with a rapid test. It comes back negative, but they continue the culture. We get a call the next day it was negative, but our daughter is in intense pain. So, we take her to Evan today and turns our SHE HAS STREP, and had to suffer for three additional days due to the incompetence of the show he's running.

I am a new patient and I work for the health system geisinger. Currently been waiting over an hour for a primary visit. Fairly healthy thankfully otherwise I’m sure I wouldn’t be provided the care I need. There were maybe two other people I had a 8 am appointment. Quickly checked in only to be left in the exam room nearly and hour with no check in from nurse or anyone. Highly disappointed. And I’ll just go outside our system in the future. Geisinger clearly doesn’t care about their patients.

This doc isn't worth 1 star! I went for heart palpitations. Not only did I get the impression that the staff didn't care for him, he was very condescending. I had recently had steroid shots and was having heart palpitations, and was concerned I was having some sort of reaction. When I told him that I had a stethoscope at home and it sounded like my heart was skipping a beat, his comment was 'and how much experience do you have with a stethoscope'? I should have walked out and told him not to bother charging me. While I am certainly not a doctor, it doesn't take having an MD degree to figure out that if you are listening to your heart and it is skipping a beat and you are physically feeling it, that something is not in the norm. I ended up in the ER 3 days later and was diagnosed with PVC. The ER doctor was kind, and while Sewak told me that it couldn't possibly be the steroids, the ER doctor had a different opinion and indicated that when it comes to the heart it
