Dr. Ana Vidal, MD

I am very upset about the office staff I encountered during this visit, who denied me service from this provider. My insurance was not verified prior to my visit even though the office had the information for a month, and even though I had verified the position of this office is to provide an estimate ahead of time if costs exceed $65. I was surprised an estimated charge of $367 on the day of the appointment, that was required at the point of service seeing as my insurance claimed they paid 100%. After trying to verify this with my insurance for over an hour in the middle of the office, I complained about the office practice of not verifying insurance and making me aware of the cost, the office manager then got very rude and misrepresented things I had said. She asked me if I wanted to be seen, which I said yes, and she said I had to pay. When I handed her my card, she claimed I threw it (which I did not). Then she denied me service. This is not how patients should be treated.

Dr Vidal is wonderful. We had some concerns going in to our visit. Once the sonography was done she was called into our room. She spent time with us, answered all our questions, actually repeated parts of the sonogram held to have her onw impression. Dr Vidal is very warm and positive. Excellent bedside manner!

I had such a great experience with Dr Vidal during my pregnancy. She answered all my questions patiently and had a very friendly demeanor. I had to go in a few times for ultrasounds with Sandye (also wonderful and very knowledgeable) and she would always pop in to see how my baby was doing. I would recommend her to anyone :)

Dr. Vidal made me feel so comfortable and welcome. She has one of the warmest bedside manners I've ever encountered and provided her undivided attention to answer and explain any questions we had. She is very attentive and accommodated my mother, my husband, and my son, who were all anxious to know how the baby was doing. I look forward to my next appointment with her.
