She listens. Offers good options and monitors meds on regular schedule. Very professional. Great with kids.

I have been seeing Dr. Brechtel for almost a decade. She has been wonderful! She is truly an honestly terrific doctor and human. Dr. Brechtel truly listens and provides an individualized treatment plan and really weighs out what and how she prescribes medication. I have always felt like I was a number to my previous psychiatrists. More than that Dr. Brechtel utilizes multiple ways to help beyond medicine. She also looks at the whole picture and calls for more blood work than my primary care just to be thorough. I'm kind of convinced she is Wonder Woman. Thank you Dr. Brechtel for everything you do!

Horrible doctor, no manners rude never available does not let people speak patients are not able to express how they feel about the treatment

I am so disappointed with Dr. Segarra-Brechte! She cancels all the time and then her availability is all about her not the patient! Then she cancels and then won’t refill the prescription until the next available appointment. She wants the kids to miss school to see her, not acceptable! Much happier now seeing a doctor that cares about there patients!

I had to be hospitalized on March 24, 2018 for bipolar manic episode. I was seen by Dr. Brechtel when I got there. I went over my history of NOT being able to take psychotropic drugs. They make me have a seizure. I made it real clear to her by going over about 10 different meds off the top of my head. The next morning when I went to the pharmacy (in Laurelwood) Gainesville she had ordered me a psychotropic drug call Zyprexa. Geez———I would have had a seizure if I hadn’t asked what she was giving
