Dr. Ana Mendoza Salazar, MD

Dr. Salasar is kind and attentive and very thorough. She answers all inquiries with clear understandable information and takes the time to be certain you understand your condition and feel comfortable with suggested treatment. She always returns calls and will reach out to a new concern even when she is on vacation. Her expertise is comforting and her approach is very professional without being dehumanizing. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking help with the conditions she treats.

My Mom had thyroid removed several years ago. Since then, she's had problems trying to regulate levels. Although she thinks very highly of Dr., the office systems are seriously archaic and inefficient. Only access is thru voicemail, which is sometimes responded to, sometimes not. Only system for sending reports is thru Fax, which they never seem to get. This has become a significant issue for my Mom, who has to rely on this Dr. for changes to meds. I've recently stepped in, when I realized that Mom neglected to reach out for help because she's gotten so frustrated in the past. Instead, she has gone MONTHS, not sleeping and feeling awful, as she "was waiting for her appt with her primary care Dr, who would then order her bloodwork". NOT OK!! Yesterday, I phoned and spoke to "voicemail", asking them to contact my Mom, as her recent bloodwork shows her TSH at double the highest range on scale. They did, eventually...but then cut her off attempting to transfer her, and never called back!

Not good at all. She will not call and talk to me about my results, I've tried calling the office several times, they tell me that she will call me but does not!!! So frustrating, I would never go to her again!!!!!!

I met with Dr. Mendoza about a nodule on my thyroid and was very impressed with her. She is very friendly and very good at explaining the problem in terms that you can understand. She is very thorough and takes the time it needs for the appointment, I did not feel rushed. I would definitely recommend her to family and friends.

Not only an amazing and knowledgeable Endocrynologist, she is so kind, carving, nurturing. She listens and never forgets anything u have told her. So very blessed to have her manage my thyroid. Also has a medical assistant who has all her wonderful attributes. Thank you Dr Mendoza. ??????

What a joy to work with this well educated, caring and vibrant doctor! Knowledgable, yet down to earth without talking down. Treats patients respectfully and listens very well!!! Does not disreguard patients ideas and theories. Wonderful. Have already recommended!
