Dr. Amy Thorsen, MD

I highly recommend avoiding this doctor at all costs. She is Contracted to work for clinics. She has zero communication with patients and when something serious is found she will refuse to answer your questions if she bothers to message you. you can't ever get a hold of her though because she doesn't work at the clinics she does procedures at because she is contracted, she does whatever she wants at your procedure than leaves without informing you on what to do next. if precancer is found she picks an inaccurate date for a repeat colonoscopy without asking and knowing symptoms or family history. But because she is contracted you can make a complaint to the manager of the clinic all day, but nothing will be done because she doesn't work there. If your 55 or older you might be treated better because she is biased on age. if your 30 or younger find someone else. if you can't find a profile on a clinics website she does not work there. I can't say with certainty everything was found.

Dr. Thorsen is wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable, research based, and very kind.

I've been seeing Dr. Thorsen for well over a year and I've found her to be highly skilled, intelligent and empathetic. I continue to be confident that I'm in good hands and would highly recommend her.

See Dr. Thorsen every 3 years for colonoscopy. Have had 3 to date. Is always very professional and informative and I never feel rushed by her. Takes whatever time you need with her for questions etc. Procedure has always been without pain and problems.
