Excellent Physician
Dr Ptaszek did a very thorough examination and explained multiple conservative options as well as surgery to address my problem. She was warm and easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ptaszek and her team (especially Katy) are the best. She listens, responds, is direct and is helpful. I could not have asked for a better surgeon and a better team (and I broke both leg bones - a serious break). She was upfront, this break will take a year to heal - and after 2 years, you'll feel great. And yet - she worked to help me become more functional faster. I wasn't placed in a hard cast. I was placed into a boot - which helped my function. I was given a nerve block and a local so that I was myself when I came out of surgery. I live alone and it was important to me to be as functional as possible after surgery. Did I mention she listens? I'm super active and am a hiker. I'll be back to my passions sooner rather than later.

I had surgery with dr Ptaszek in June of 2018 for 1 bunion & 3 neuromas and have been in the most severe pain I have ever felt in my entire life for 1 full year now. The pain is much worse then prior to surgery & all she could say to me was “these surgery’s are successful otherwise we wouldn’t do them.” And “I don’t know what to do with you “ it has sadly been the most physically painful year of my life & I do not recommend surgery with her.

Dr. Ptaszek was tremendous. In just 3 months after my surgery (to repair a complete Achilles rupture), I was jogging, again. She made me feel comfortable throughout and I would strongly recommend.

I'd never been injured or had surgery before my Achilles ruptured. Thankfully, I found Dr. Ptaszek. From the first talk we had, she was attentive, showed empathy, answered all my questions and was so present. She made me feel confident in the choice to have surgery. I'm 1 year post surgery now and I didn't have singIe complication. I trust her and recommend her.

I broke my right ankle and fractured the left stepping funny off the front step. From my first meeting, Dr. Ptaszek had a wry sense of humor and put me at ease. Surgery and recovery were a bear, but she was available and supportive. Years later when I was having a different foot problem (not her area, but I was in so much pain and didn't know who to turn to) she connected me with another physician and got me in quick. Amy Jo Ptaszek is a gem!

Has walking issues. Prior to seeing Dr. Ptaszek I went through years of cortisone shots. She diagnosed me with a weak ankle, suggested an orthotic brace. When received by lab had instant relieved from arthritis on my foot. An amazing physician who listens.

One of THE BEST physicians I HAVE met. She is professional, caring and a wonderful sense of humor. I broke my ankle and thanks to Dr. Ptaszek I went into surgery knowing I was in the best care. The office is wonderful as well as her associates. I am on my way to healing and would recommend her 100%.
