Dr. Amy Murphy, MD

We've been with Dr. Murphy for 15+ years. Her office has been really struggling in recent years. We're required to call in every month for my son's Rx refill, and they frequently take more than a week to send his prescription refill to the pharmacy after multiple attempts to contact them (their office policy is withing 48hra for refills.) There is no communication from the office, you just have to wonder if they're ever going to send it in. My husband and son are both patients of her's, and they have both lapsed on treatment of their chronic medications because the MA doesn't do her job. We brought this up to Dr. Murphy at a recent visit, and her response was, "Amber (the MA) get overwhelmed." No plans to address the issues or improve them.

I’ve seen Dr. Murphy for years, she’s wonderful. Great bedside manner and is always very thorough and caring. I highly recommend her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Murphy's for 24 years. She is a great doctor. She spends time with you, listens to you, ask questions and is genuinely interested in my health.

Very difficult to get appointment in a good time frame at this office. Usually you will be booked at least 2 weeks out even if you tell them you are in pain. When you call you are always placed on hold and when you arrive the staff is always making you wait to answer phones. They need more support people for the number of doctors in this office! Follow up is also very poor; if you have a bad lab result they do not call and explain it to you. They said a 10 word email which is impersonal.

I have been a patient for 17 years now and have never regretted a single visit. She listens, she is thorough and she prescribes the correct medicine. I constantly recommend her and her staff to new clients.

Dr Amy murphy is good but the problem is that the clinis is always busy and even my doctor is dr amy I always see PA.This clinic was not like that 2 years ago but now it's difficult to see primary doctor for even a well check up. Always get appointment with PA ,to establish again here u have to pay copay for well checkup. Front staff seems like not happy over the phone they don't treat u good .they don't check what insurance covers and what not it's mostly pt reponsibilty.

Dr. Murphy is great at being a physician. She genuinely cares about the health of her patients. I always feel like Dr. Murphy is very thorough and explains everything relative to her examinations. I would certainly recommend Dr. Murphy to anyone looking for a primary care physician.
