Superior focus
Dr Kobalter consistently devotes her time and focus towards life threatening cancer prevention care. She is mature, professional, kind and alert. She is kind has a reasonable approach to patient interaction. She is clear about her professional priorities in regards to medical care versus cosmetic concerns. This is her personal choice and I respect it. I trust her completely to identify and monitor any pre cancerous or cancerous issues. She has saved the life of several friends by diagnosing melanoma and other cancers at early stages.

Review is mostly for the cost. They are charging hospital stay rates for simple exams. Unfortunately for those with high deductible insurance plans, it is way too expensive. Only since UCSF took over. So I'll be going elsewhere.

on my last visit, the receptionist didn't inform me of a problem with my insurance until after I was disrobed and with the doctor. Then I was asked to sign a form that I would pay out of pocket. Only after leaving the room did I realize they had checked the wrong insurance. The receptionist refused to accept my valid insurance and demanded I pay out of pocket. She took a copy of my valid insurance card and I told her to send me a bill. Instead I got a certified letter that the practice will no longer see me.
