Pregnancy visit
I saw Dr. Heyman for a routine pregnancy appointment through Capital Women’s Care as 1 of a 4 rotation doctors. The other 3 docs I had met so far were great BUT Dr. Heyman was truly awful. I’m a high risk pregnancy and was having trouble with randomly fainting. She completely disregarded me. I had asked about getting tests done for pregnancy diabetes which my primary care doctor suggested. She told me she would not test me as I was 3weeks early for that test per their protocol so she wrote me off. I told her I didn’t understand what was happening to me and I was scared, she refused to help me and had no compassion. She even started talking to my husband and stopped addressing me. She made us both feel awful and helpless. I even contacted others there at CWC and she argued with them too. I couldn’t have her removed from my rotation to deliver my baby so we left and went to SMH who were great and I did in fact have preeclampsia. I had been with CWC for 17 years and I left because of her.

Dr. Amy Heyman is the most caring physician. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. She is such a compassionate and kindhearted person.
