Dr. Amy Hessler, DO

My wife has seen Dr. Amy Hessler a couple times and NEVER experienced any negative issues regarding our appointment. My wife was given the most comprehensive “hands-on” head to toe examination. A complete review of symptoms, an honest eye contact explanation of her results based on the examination, a confirmation of diagnosis and what to expect with the progression of my wife’s condition. The explanation was provided in an easily understood manner for any laymen. BTW, we were very perplexed after reading several negative web-based reviews. This led us to believe they saw someone much different from the Dr. Hessler, we had the pleasure of seeing.

She took her time discussing concerns, options. Would highly recommend

My experience was terrible. She was unbelievably condescending. She barely made eye contact and dismissed every one of my symptoms even though I had been to Mayo Clinic and had a dx. Frankly the entire department of UK Neurology, with the exception of a very few providers, is shockingly poor. Go somewhere else if possible.

This is a horrible horrible hateful person. She told me my mother who was diagnosed with FTD dementia in 2017 had no sigms of dementia based on aprrox 12 questions. Then while im trying to take in the fact that she just said my mom didnt have this disease weve been dealing with for over a year now she stated she did not know for sure bc I have crippled her by not providing medical records which they should've already had! She was rude, condescending, hateful and heartless!

I am not coming back. I have another neurologist.
