The Peace of mind we needed.
My husband and I had just moved to the city and were looking for a pediatrician who would be well prepared, reassure us, and explain things to us. I especially appreciate that doctors are not alarmist and give us explanations based on evidence that are easy to understand. Dr. Hayes turned out to be much more than what we were looking for. She is warm, friendly and always shows interest to make the visits as pleasant as possible (Labs or shots are not always fun). She always takes her time to check on our son and she is very nice, as is her team. I wouldn't change her for anything! I would recommend her to anyone!

We couldn’t be happier that we found Dr. Hayes, she came to the hospital after I gave birth and we felt that she was a great fit for us. There after we have used her as our permanent pediatrician and really like her. I love her temperament with our daughter, her voice is very calming and it helps during stressful times, especially with new babies. I will use her for our next baby, and would refer her to friends and family.

My daughter has been running high fever with a constant cough for 3 days and after getting her checked with Dr. Hays she did not give her any medication even though her fever was really high. 2 days later when the fever went up to 103.5 she still didn't prescribe any medication and wants to wait and bring her to the office the next day to reevaluate. Extremely frustrating.

Dr. Hayes is a excellent doctor - my son has been going to her for 11 years and she is amazing to talk to and so helpful and has never diagnosed my son wrong ever. My son is going through a lot of health issues right now and she has been amazing.

My regular doctor within the practice was out of town so I saw Dr. Amy Hayes. She refused to give my son any medication for his constant coughing and gagging which had been going on for 5 days prior to taking him into the doctor. She said to call her in 5 days and she would re-evaluate the situation. She told me she doesn't believe in giving medication and likes to give the body 14 days to heal itself. Meantime my son can barely breath and is now running a low grade temp.
