This was 5+yrs ago but always sticks with me: I had an unusual and sudden large "bump" on my head, she felt it with her fingers and said it was "bunched up muscle tissue" and was not concerned, no further discussion. After a falling out with her office due to rudeness of the reception staff, I went to a new doctor who immediately ordered diagnostics for my head and it turns out I have a bone tumor on my skull. She always seemed dismissive of me but this situation could have been life changing for me if I had not sought a 2nd opinion.

Little to NO response
Funny how can go to Patient First and in 15 minutes get results and prescription for UTI— but Dr. Amy - 7 business days- to get test ordered and results— probably 8 until prescription ordered which would be done end of day, so 9 business days or 13 calendar days

Dr.Amy Giles-Lachina Amazing Dr
She was my Dr for all but 10 years and I couldn't have asked for a better Dr. It broke my heart when i had my very last visit with her. I'm hoping to soon get the insurance she accepts so i can return to her. She was absolutely amazing with me and i had experienced many health issues as well as major health procedure's while with her and i have never felt comfortable or in safer hands than when she was my Dr.

Came up with a diagnosis for my condition after numerous other doctors could not pinpoint what was wrong with me. Actually listens to you and helps you make the best choices for your health.

Be prepared to wait in the waiting room for 45+ minutes then 10+ minutes in the actual room. Not satisfied with quality of diagnosis. Might as well be seen by a pharmacist, if all you want is a quick diagnosis and a script, then a goodbye.

She is an extremely thorough doctor. Takes time to listen and explain using multi ways including teaching life style changes. I was able to lose 50 pounds over 2 years by changing my eating habits and no dieting. I was able to lose weight so I did not have to go on insulin shots that my specialist was recommending.

Office is very disorganized. Records are not maintained properly. If all you need is to be asked a few questions, looked at quickly, then handed a prescription and ushered out, this is the place for you.

I didn't feel like she listened to me or my concerns. Did not provide adequate explanation of my symptoms and seemed to have a decision made before walking into the room. She also finished the appointment by walking out of the room without indicating that we were done. I watched her walk back to her desk and stood there waiting for her to come back. Finally a nurse told me we were done. I will not go back to her again.
