I have been seeing Amy Groff for about 17 years. She has been an active and interested listener to all my issues being in a blended family. She is never judgmental, listens carefully to any of my issues, allowing humor to make appointments a pleasure. She is also one to suggest certain treatments for different issues I may encounter as I grow older, even if it means referring me to another practitioner in her practice. I have always felt comfortable with her and her nurse Stephanie - almost like friends going through the crazy changes of life. I love this woman and feel comfortable that I can go to her with any and all problems.

I absolutely love Dr.Groff and her nurses. Yes, she is busy and it takes a bit to get an appointment with her, but I trust her. She always makes me feel comfortable with is never an easy thing to feel when you are spread eagle before someone. Past the childbearing phase of my life, but I'm definitely glad to have her for my annual exams and any concerns along the way.

Overall I like Dr Groff, she delivered both of my children. The only thing I'm not happy about is on the second child I tore and had to be sewn up. (Just a warning, don't do what I did.) Either I wasn't sewn completely or a few stitches pulled out, broke, whatever. When I went back for a checkup Dr Groff said everything looks good (perineal tear healing). I DON'T THINK SO, and I was stupid enough to not say something at the time. I had a fourchette before now it's nonexistent. My vagina was close enough to my anus before now it's even closer, part of the perineal tear healed like an open wound, not the whole tear just a percentage of the tear. I'm thinking about having the problem fixed and dreading the thought of healing, side effects etc.

Seen her a few times during the rotation of providers for OB visits. Now, it’s always my preference to see someone else. I’m sure she’s a nice person and generally competent MD. But I greatly dislike her bedside manner. She asks virtually no questions, rushes through her “exam” (I use parentheses because I’m in the medical field and don’t consider her process thorough). Does a poor job of allowing and answering questions. Always appears hurried/scattered.

Really cares about her patients! If you need something, she goes way out of her way to help you! Yes, she's busy, yes, you have to wIt but that's just the nature of obstetrics!

I waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes to see Dr. Groff. She spent exactly 4 minutes total with me. This was my first appointment with her. She was very hurried, rushed through the exam and answered one question I had as she was behind the curtain and going out the door. Really???!! I would never return to her nor recommend her to anyone I know. I spent way more time filling out health history information at home before I went than she took with me, and she had obviously not read any of it.
