Dr. Amy Gerhardt, MD

Dr Gerhardt makes me feel relaxed. She is very gentle

I'm currently feeding my rainbow newborn baby who would not be here if it wasn't for Dr.Gerhardt. She delivered my son almost eleven years ago and then this little guy. Doctor Gerhardt is so kind, caring, personable, and thorough! I can't recommend her highly enough!! I was an extremely high risk pregnancy, and she took no chances with my health or baby's health. She very closely managed my pregnancy along with the MFM and made sure that baby arrived safely. We will always be grateful for her!

I was pregnant with my first baby and I went through it during the first year of the pandemic. She was my go to OBGYN for my annuals, so when it came to my 16 week appt, I was looking forward to seeing her. I waited 45 minutes for her and once she came in, though we were both wearing masks, she belittled me saying we could give each other the virus and why would I just not do telemedicine? Again..first baby..I wanted to hear her heartbeat cause I couldn't feel kicks yet at 16 weeks. She was just very rude and negative and she'd just quickly brush off my questions...by the time I got into the car where my husband waited since he couldn't come in, I burst into tears and told him what happened. He called the office and explained the situation..which they were very apologetic about and off hand mentioned this isn't the first time she acted this way during this time. I get the pandemic is real and scary but there are other ways to go about it. I will never be working with her again.

Dr. Gerhardt is a caring, down to earth physician with an amazing bed side manner. She immediately makes you feel comfortable in some often, very uncomfortable circumstances. She is skilled and knowledgeable, approachable and most of all, truly cares about her patient's. I wish all of my physicians were more like Dr. Gerhardt.

Dr.Gerhardt she is the Best

Gerhardt is very kind and friendly however if you have other issues outside of normal annuals I would suggest looking for another doctor. In my case if she had reviewed my scan before having my come to the office she would have known it couldn’t be completed there. Then in the hospital during procedure it went wrong and she had to stop. Came to tell me the news and brushed it off like “oops” with a sad puppy face. Now need a second hospital visit, this isn’t an “oops” situation.

Dr. Gerhardt is super nice, super friendly and puts you extremely at ease in the most uncomfortable of situations. She is thorough when explaining things and understanding when I have questions. She has never made me feel stupid! The waiting time at the office leaves something to be desired, and the nursing staff isn't the most pleasant, but Dr. Gerhardt makes up for it.

When I first met Dr Gerhardt she seemed very calm and friendly. However, as I had more appointments with her, her manner became more rushed. She also acted as if I was wasting her time. When I asked some questions about an issue I was having and she just dismissed them while walking out of the exam room, I knew it was time to find another doctor.

Extremely rude and gruff. She said only 2 people were allowed to be present during delivery but let 3 people stay. Then when I came into the room she made me leave and the nurses on the floor said i couldn't stay out in the hall but could wait in the room behind the curtain. Dr. Gerhardt said I had to leave because she already broke the rules and made an exception for one extra person but couldn't let me in. So she can break the rules for some people and not others.

Dr. Gerhardt was helpful during my doctor visits at the office. However, as a new mother delivering, she was an absolute nightmare. I was scheduled to be induced by another doctor in the practice and due to lack of communication between the doctors, Dr. Gerhardt made me feel like I was wronglyadmitted to the hospital for induction and that it was an inconvenience to her schedule. After I had already begun medication to be induced she suggested that I go home. I felt like I was unable to ask ques

Hands down the best doctor I ever had. I wish she was a GP because she is that amazing. I had a successful vbac with no Epidural. OB nurse Amanda is great along with Kristen in the front. Highly recommend the practice

Dr Gerhartd is a great and caring doctor and i cannot recommend her highly enough.
