Dr. Amy Carrillo, DO

Dr. Carrillo always goes above and beyond and makes me feel truly cared for and I appreciate it!

I LOVE Dr. Carrillo. I will follow her anywhere.

She failed to note my bicornate uterus in her notes after performing a d&c resulting in an additional unnecessary d&c surgery a year later due to an unclear read from a follow up vaginal ultrasound which I of course had to pay for. Apparently the subsequent peer review decision that not noting physical abnormalities is reasonable and customary care excuses and covers for her sloppy work. She also told me and my husband that my lack of libido due to menopause was “a relief” to most of her patients. She is not a good doctor.

I love her! I actually switch my original OB to come to the one I have now. I'm very happy with that decision and would recommend her to everyone!

Dr Carrillo is a wonderful physician who took the time to explain every step of the visit with me. She is the best ob/gyn in this area!

I didn’t experience Dr. Amy Carrillo to be the compassionate provider that she is made out to be. I very much wanted to like her after having heard such great things, but I was sorely disappointed with her bedside manner. She was very condescending and cut me off many times. She didn’t listen and is extremely insensitive if you have any anxiety surrounding Pap smears at all. Maybe she’s great for others but she was terrible to me. Could’ve been having a bad day I guess. Nonetheless, I found a different doctor. Nurses and staff seemed to be good.

Dr Carrillo was my delivery doctor for my back to back pregnancies in 2020 and 2021. My care doctor worked with her but didn’t deliver babies. Anywho, she reassured me I would be just fine as I had a traumatic birth with my first in 2008. I was terrified of maternal death both times and she made me feel so much better. She was a great cheerleader while laboring, and her bedside manner was just awesome all together. I love her! 100% recommend.

I met Dr Carrillo for the first time today and I love her! She’s so sweet and understanding and a great listener highly recommend her!

I was having extreme bleeding that prohibited my daily functions, and Dr. Carrillo was not only knowledgeable and helpful, she was empathetic to my situation. She helped to expedite the scheduling and testing process in order to resolve my issues as quickly as possible so that I could resume my normal activities.

Dr. Carrillo was the on call doctor when I had my second child. Her patience and the way she sympathized with our situation at the time was amazing. She helped me feel calm and choose the best decision for my baby. I trust her whole heartedly, I made her my OBGYN after the birth of my baby. I love her as a doctor and feel so comfortable talking to her, its like talking to an old friend.
